Our physical therapists constantly update their skills through continuing education courses in order to provide the best possible treatment for their patients. We continually exchange new ideas and techniques with each other to provide all of our patients with the best level of skills available. Our therapists are also committed to obtain an advanced doctorate level of education, emphasizing clinical diagnostics and orthopedic manual therapy. We are dedicated to utilizing proven and emerging techniques that are based on sound, scientific principles and evidence-based research.

Greg Fritz, PT
Greg has over eighteen years of experience as a physical therapist and started his career at Island Hospital in 1986. Longing for the peaceful lifestyle of Fidalgo Island , he returned to Anacortes in 1999 with his wife Janelle and his kids, Laurel and Hans.
A student of anatomy and movement science, Greg continues to be fascinated by the human body and his professional interests include ergonomics, industrial injury prevention, fibromyalgia, TMJ/Jaw pain, balance training and sports/orthopedic rehabilitation. Martin Iverson, PTA
Martin was first introduced to the physical therapy field as a patient of Greg Fritz, who encouraged Martin to pursue a career in this field. Since then, he has found great fulfillment in the field of PTA because of the many challenges it presents. One of the challenges is to understand patients' needs, to inspire them to see that they can get healthy again, and in turn to challenge them to take ownership of their rehabilitation. The intellectual challenges are stimulating as well. Constant growth is required in understanding of the nature of the human body and mind and how to utilize proven techniques as well as finding new ones for treatment.
Martin and his family are long time residents of Anacortes. His great grandfather moved here in 1915 by barge from Whatcom (now Bellingham) landing a short distance south of this clinic. He is ecstatically happy to be married to his wife Sara, and has 6 children. He can be seen on stage in a variety of venues. A few of his favorites are the local community theatres, the Anacortes Waterfront Festival, and An Evening of Improv, which he also produces. On his days off he chooses to be involved in pediatric rehab with the Burlington School Dist. A list of hobbies which he doesn't have enough time for are; basketball traveling, scuba diving/snorkeling (depending on how warm the water is), coin collecting, quantum sciences, and videography.

Becky Vavrosky, PTA
Becky joined the Anacortes Physical Therapy team in January 2007. She has been a resident of Anacortes since 1983. She is an avid swimmer, and was first inspired to become a PTA by watching a local physical therapist perform aquatic therapy. After much encouragement from her friends and family she followed her instincts and started the PTA program at Whatcom Community College, graduating in December 2006. Becky operated her own landscape design company, called Earthwise Designs while putting herself through the PTA program. Becky feels that her mission is to help others’ improve their lives through therapy. She has worked and volunteered for varying organizations committed to helping others, including the Anacortes Boys and Girls Club, Love, Inc of Skagit County and the Anacortes chapter of the American Red Cross
Becky has a special interest in geriatrics and the particular set of issues that face them. She is also interested in manual therapies and has had training in the technique of Strain/Counterstrain for the spine. She would like to continue with her training in this area along with the many manual interventions that are available to the therapist.
When she isn’t working, Becky enjoys being outdoors. Hiking and gardening are two of her great loves, in addition to music and travel. She has 2 children—a son who is working out of the country and a daughter who is a recent college graduate.
